About me
About me
Hello and welcome to Ishani Booms Photography!

I am Ishani Booms, a passionate photographer originally from Sri Lanka. From a young age, I’ve been drawn to photography and the powerful imagery of people and nature. That fascination has grown with me over the years, shaping who I am today.

Now based in the beautiful Albury–Wodonga region, my life revolves around two great passions: travel and photography. I specialise in portrait photography while also capturing nature and landscape imagery with a creative and artistic approach. I’m continually inspired by the natural world its textures, light, and quiet moments as well as the unique stories carried by every individual I photograph.

For me, photography is more than simply capturing memories. Whether I’m photographing a person, a place, or a fleeting moment in nature, my aim is to create meaningful images that feel honest, emotive, and timeless.

I am deeply committed to refining my craft and exploring the art of portrait, nature, and landscape photography, allowing creativity to guide each image I create.

Beyond photography, I’m a loving wife to my wonderful husband and a devoted mum to our two adorable fur babies. We embrace the tranquillity of country life and feel incredibly grateful to be part of such a warm and beautiful community.

Photographing people in their own environments holds a special place in my heart, as it allows me to understand their personalities and stories. At the same time, capturing natural and landscape scenes gives me the freedom to slow down, observe, and creatively interpret the beauty around us. My goal is to craft a relaxed and personalised experience and to create images that allow you to relive and feel the moments we shared.

Thank you for choosing Ishani Booms Photography, where every image tells a story and captures the essence of meaningful moments.
